Job summary

Talentspoc in the UAE seeks an experienced Cardiac Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care for complex cardiovascular conditions. The role requires strong adult cardiac surgery expertise, excellent operative skills, and dedication to patient-centered care.

The successful candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and perform elective and emergency cardiac procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and ensuring UAE

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS / MCh / DNB / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring cardiac surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency cardiac procedures within expertise.

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Cardiac Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in adult cardiac surgery, excellent operative skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Cardiac Surgery is an established UAE licensing title.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring cardiac surgical intervention.
• Perform elective and emergency cardiac surgical procedures within the scope of expertise.
• Perform procedures including CABG, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, and other cardiac interventions.
• Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
• Provide comprehensive post-operative care and monitor patients for complications.
• Review and interpret echocardiography, coronary angiography, CT, MRI, laboratory results, and other investigations.
• Manage high-risk and emergency cardiac surgical cases.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in multidisciplinary heart-team discussions and treatment planning.
• Counsel patients and families regarding surgical options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MS / MCh / DNB / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Surgery / Cardiovascular Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in cardiac surgical procedures and perioperative management.
• Excellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Surgical logbook may be required as part of UAE licensing eligibility for surgical specialties
