Job summary

Virtusa in Dubai is seeking a Card Testing Analyst to validate end-to-end card transaction processing and ensure CMS compliance with card schemes and security standards. The role focuses on testing debit, credit and prepaid transactions across multiple channels, validating 3D Secure, EMV, and ISO 8583 messaging, and collaborating with external vendors to ensure smooth test execution and defect resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong testing of CMS, gateway, and payment network interfaces.
• Ability to design test cases and track defects in a test management tool.
• Experience with end-to-end and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Test debit/credit and prepaid transactions across channels.
• Validate CMS integration with core banking and switches.
• Ensure 3D Secure, ISO 8583 messages and settlement flows are correct.
• Create and maintain test cases and defect logs in JIRA/HP ALM.

We are looking for a Card Testing Analyst with strong expertise in Debit Credit and Prepaid card systems. The role involves validating end-to-end card transaction processing testing Card Management Systems (CMS) and ensuring compliance with card scheme rules and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

Card Transaction Testing Test Debit Credit and Prepaid card transactions across multiple channels.

Validate transaction flows on:

• ATM Cash withdrawal balance inquiry mini statement.
• POS Purchase refund reversal pre-authorization completion.
• E-commerce Online payments with 3D Secure authentication.
• Card Lifecycle Testing

Validate and test complete card lifecycle processes including:

• Card issuance and card personalization.
• Card activation and PIN generation.
• PIN change and PIN reset.
• Card block unblock and hotlisting.
• Card replacement and renewal.
• Card Management System (CMS) Testing Perform testing on Card Management Systems (CMS).
• Validate card configurations limits and usage controls.
• Test integration between CMS switch and core banking systems.
• Payment Network & Message Validation Analyze and validate ISO 8583 authorization messages.
• Verify transaction request/response message fields.
• Validate authorization clearing and settlement flows.

Testing Activities

Execute various types of testing including:

• Functional Testing
• Integration Testing
• System Testing
• Regression Testing UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
• End-to-End transaction testing.

Compliance & Scheme Validation

• Visa and Mastercard scheme rules

Defect & Test Management
