Job Description

DC Aviation Al Futtaim is a leading integrated hangar, VIP lounge, charter, FBO, maintenance, and aircraft management company based at Dubai World Central (DWC) and recently obtained its AOC in 2015. We provide top‑class aviation services and aim to exceed customer expectations across the UAE and the region.

We are seeking an experienced Captain for the Global 7500 aircraft to join the DCAF team. The role requires strong leadership, excellent customer relationship skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to work a flexible duty roster.

Primary Duties

• Bear final authority concerning the control of the airplane (nautical authority).
• Maintain safety and order aboard the aircraft (board authority).
• In emergencies, take necessary measures under given circumstances (emergency authority).
• Fully responsible for the safety of the aircraft, its load and all persons on board when the doors are closed.
• Report to superior office when crew members violate directives; inform the respective CM about the report.
• Responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft from taxi to engine shutdown.
• Organize the work of the flight deck team according to the Multi‑Crew Concept, assigning PF and PNF duties.
• Ensure checklists are complied with.
• Set priorities and make decisions giving priority to safety while considering economy, passenger comfort, and punctuality.
• Possess required knowledge and qualifications for routes and airports used.
• Be familiar with all documentation and information.
• Conduct flight‑ and weather briefings; check weather reports and evaluate the situation.
• Ensure compliance with maximum allowable flight and duty times.
• Maintain required documents (ship papers) on board and up to date.
• Report findings and irregularities; ensure airworthiness, required instrumentation, and maintenance requirements are met.
• Have the right to exclude persons and items from transportation.
• Meet flight operational duties as outlined in the OM‑A and OM‑B.
• Contribute to expanding the experience and knowledge of the flight crew.
• Conduct the cabin crew briefing.
• Bear responsibility for the care of crew and ensure crew conduct promotes DC Aviation Al Futtaim’s reputation.
• Promote good working relationships within the crew, share necessary information, and include coworkers’ opinions in decision‑making.
• Delegate tasks to cockpit and cabin crew members when feasible.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid EASA or FAA ATPL license.
• Current type rating for the Global 7500.
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Prior experience as Captain or First Officer.
• Fluent in English.
