Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Capillary Assistant Operator to support capillary tasks in a demanding oilfield environment. This semi-entry role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and teamwork as you assist with mobilization, rig up, and equipment handling.

You will perform pre-job checks, assist with yard and field tasks, and help maintain housekeeping while recording test parameters. English writing and reading are required; IWCF/IADC WIPC Level 1 certification is encouraged for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years oilfield experience, preferably coiled tubing.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• English reading and writing required; certification pursuit encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Load and offload equipment under supervision for mobilization and demobilization.
• Assist with pre-job inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Support spooling-related tasks in the yard and field.
• Assist with spotting equipment and skids.
• Participate in rig up and rig down activities with the crew.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and keep the worksite organized.
• Record test parameters and pressure values accurately.
• Actively participate in pre-job safety meetings, JSAs, and toolbox talks.
