Job summary

A recognized higher education institution in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Facilities Engineer to oversee the efficient operation of campus facilities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of maintenance experience. Strong knowledge in facilities management, excellent organization skills, and effective communication in English are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical with experience in MEP works.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of campus facilities.
• Supervise maintenance teams across all campus buildings.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire, and carpentry works.

Skills

Knowledge of Facilities Management

Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and others)

Operations Management & Cost Control

Strong Organization and Planning Skills

Self-Motivated and can work in a team

Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

Knowledge of UAE building codes and fire safety regulations

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical

PMP certificate
