Job summary

Hydro Middle East L.L.C. in Dubai seeks an experienced CAD Engineer to support the global pump business. You will use SolidWorks to build 3D models, create shop drawings, and collaborate with engineers on designs and part modifications.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in pumps or rotating equipment, familiarity with machined parts and castings, and a degree in engineering. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available for qualified applicants. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in pumps or rotating equipment.
• Experience with machined parts and castings.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Surface modeling experience is a plus (Romer).
• College degree or professional training certificate.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and shop drawings.
• Develop designs and part modifications with engineering teams.
• Coordinate with vendors for outsourced parts.
• Process ECNs and NCRs.
• Assemble drawing and traveler packages for shop jobs.
• Reverse engineer castings using Romer Arm and high-res software.
• Collaborate with hydraulics engineer to evaluate casting models.
• Participate in production meetings.

We are seeking a strong CAD Engineer strong with strong 5 strong - strong 8 or more years experience in pumps or rotating equipment strong to work in the engineering department located in Dubai UAE to support our global pump business

Essential Functions

• strong Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and shop drawings
• Work with engineering to develop designs and part modifications
• On occasion work with vendors to clarify and or assist in manufacturing of outsourced parts
• Process Engineering Change Notices and Non-Conformance Reports
• Assemble drawing and traveler packages for shop-jobs
• Reverse engineer castings using Romer Arm technology and High-Res software
• Work with the hydraulics engineer to evaluate or modify casting models
• Participate in production meetings

Five to eight years of previous experience using SolidWorks.Experience with machined parts and castings.Knowledge of GD&T.Pump knowledge is a plus.Surface modeling experience is a plus (for Romer).

College degree and/or professional training certificate.
