Job summary
Emirates Engineering is a leading aircraft maintenance facility known for its cutting-edge capabilities and strict safety standards. The Workshop Technician will perform maintenance, calibration, surface finishing, and painting on Emirates and third-party aircraft and components under supervision.
Role requires engineering training or equivalent and extensive experience in a workshop setting, with emphasis on safety practices, procedures, and compliance with aviation regulations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronics, or Technical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License or Engineering Apprenticeship.
- Experience of five years or more.
- Post-qualification experience in aviation with engineering background, including at least 2 years in a workshop environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine component and tool servicing, calibration, maintenance, modification, and/or approved structural repairs in compliance with manufacturers procedures.
- Review Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), IPC, CMM, SPM and other docs to perform tasks.
- Assist in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and modifications following job card instructions.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure FOD-free environments; audit toolboxes regularly.
