Accountabilities of the role

• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and confirmations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procurement policies.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, lead times, and order confirmations.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier records and databases.
• Manage procurement records, pricing databases, and contract files.
• Assist in generating reports such as spend analysis and delivery performance.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Support documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Assist in evaluating supplier submissions under guidance.
• Liaise with internal teams like engineering, finance, and logistics to understand requirements and support procurement processes.
• Track and follow up on internal approvals.
• Identify and suggest improvements in procurement processes.
• Stay informed on industry trends.
