Job summary

Worley in the UAE seeks a hands-on Buyer I to join our Abu Dhabi offices. You will source, evaluate and award goods and services (e.g. PPE, office consumables) and manage purchase orders and supplier performance to support project execution.

This is an operational role requiring multitasking under the guidance of the Procurement Manager, focusing on timely delivery, price control and compliance with framework agreements and company policies.

Qualifications

• University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Relevant years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, solicit and select reliable sources of supply of materials, equipment and services to support project execution. Prepare purchase orders, control prices and quality and ensure delivery of materials and equipment to meet objectives. Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices.
• Executes assigned purchasing and procurement work under the close supervision and guidance of the Procurement Manager or more senior level Supply Management personnel.

Job introduction:

A hands on, energetic and proactive person is sought to join our growing team and undertake the sourcing, evaluation and award of Goods and Services for our UAE offices e.g. PPE, office consumables, call off's against Framework Agreements etc. This is an operational level role where multitasking and working under pressure are key elements of the role.

Key Accountability:
