Guildhall is currently recruiting for Business Development Manager who will be responsible for establishing and growing the company’s new branch in Dubai. This person will drive sales, secure contracts, and build long-term relationships with contractors, developers, and project stakeholders. The role requires a proactive, ambitious professional who can operate independently and help shape the growth of a new international business in the UAE. The company provides large construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery on a rental basis to contractors and developers. While the Dubai branch is new, the business has a strong and successful foundation overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction sector
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, developers, and project managers
  • Promote the company’s heavy plant and excavator rental services to new and existing clients
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and rental agreements
  • Track market trends and competitor activities within the plant hire industry
  • Work closely with management to plan equipment purchases based on contract wins
  • Drive revenue growth and meet agreed sales targets
  • Represent the company at site visits, meetings, and industry events
  • Support the long-term operational setup of the Dubai branch
  • Contribute to developing pricing strategies and business plans
  • Provide monthly sales forecasting and pipeline updates
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager
  • Strong background in construction, heavy equipment rental, machinery sales, or plant hire
  • Strong existing network in the UAE construction market (preferred)
