Overview

Client: Higher University Organization UAE. The Organization we are working with aims to strengthen its position as a knowledge hub and a partner to industry by developing high-impact, practice-oriented Education programs. It intends to expand its executive education portfolio with new Specialization Courses designed for mid-senior professionals and executives seeking to update their skills, acquire strategic knowledge, and enhance leadership capabilities in a rapidly changing business environment. The search is for Business Development Professionals with experience in selling Executive Specialization Courses or similar professional services.

Responsibilities
  • Act as an advisor, identifying client needs and matching them with suitable programs.
  • Handle objections, structure offers (tuition, group discounts, corporate packages), and close deals.
  • Use CRM tools to manage leads, track engagement, and forecast enrollments.
  • Familiarity with academic structures, accreditation, certification, and how executive courses differ from degree programs.
  • Understand competitor programs (business schools, private training providers) to position the University’s unique value proposition.
  • Present the course as a career-enhancing opportunity, using success stories and alumni testimonials.
  • Draft compelling proposals, corporate offers, and follow-up emails.
  • Build partnerships with HR Directors, Training Managers, and Learning & Development departments.
  • Maintain long-term engagement with executives, alumni, and corporate partners.
  • Use LinkedIn, webinars, and online platforms to generate interest.
  • Collaborate with the University’s marketing team to align campaigns, events, and digital ads with sales goals.
  • Build credibility as someone who understands executive career paths and organizational needs.
Qualifications
  • 3–7 years in B2B Sales or Business Development, ideally in higher education, executive training, or professional services (consulting, corporate training, HR solutions).
  • Proven track record in selling to senior executives, HR directors, or corporate learning departments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and digital lead generation.
  • Proven ability to build long-term relationships with corporate partners and alumni.
  • The ideal qualification mix is a business / marketing degree, sales experience in higher education or B2B services, and the credibility to engage senior executives across cultures.
