Position Title: Business Development Manager - Cross Border

1. Job Purpose

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the identification, acquisition, and development of new business opportunities. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth by building strong customer relationships, exploring new markets, and promoting tailored solutions that meet client needs. The Business Development Manager plays a key role in expanding the company’s presence within the cross-border logistics sector while ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and commercial success.

2. Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to acquire new customers and expand into new markets.
  • Identify target industries, customer segments, and opportunities aligned with company objectives.
  • Source and develop leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and digital platforms.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, commercial offers, and presentations customized to client needs.
  • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and finance teams to ensure service capabilities align with client requirements.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product and service development.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics such as lead conversion, revenue growth, and customer retention.
  • Present regular updates to management on progress and outcomes.
3. Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within logistics/cross-border transport.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international logistics, customs regulations, and cross-border operations.
