Established in 2011 CEQUENS offers a comprehensive suite of APIs including SMS, WhatsApp for Business, Voice, Push Notifications and more enabling seamless and personalized interactions across multiple channels. Our partner network covers the MEA region with international access to messaging hubs worldwide and our clients include major banks, credit card and digital payments, OTT applications, government authorities, health and education, and other industry verticals.

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand CEQUENS’s client base. You will be at the forefront of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable new financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. You will play a pivotal part in developing enduring relationships with clients while spearheading sales initiatives. You will be tasked with not only meeting but exceeding customer expectations by addressing their needs promptly and ensuring a positive overall customer experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong new business development skills, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, coupled with a strong customer service orientation. Ultimately we are looking for an individual who can contribute to the growth of our business by fostering successful long‑term client relationships.

  • Provide guidance and supervision to account representatives to drive sales growth.
  • Regularly report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Set, communicate and track sales account targets, aligning them with company objectives.
  • Monitor key sales metrics including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Recommend strategic actions to enhance sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in a business development role in a technical/SaaS environment, a MUST.
  • Hands‑on experience in new business sales with a demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Business acumen with a problem‑solving attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Recommendation of strategic actions to enhance sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Market knowledge of the MENA region.
