An ideal candidate will have freight forwarding sales experience and a strong track record of creating, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This individual will excel at identifying and qualifying leads while leveraging a consultative sales approach to secure deals with both new and existing customers, driving revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Generating new business leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and online platforms.
- Consistently follow up on potential leads by scheduling meetings, demos, and securing senior management support when needed.
- Identify client needs and work with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, positioning SFS as a trusted service provider.
- Manage complex negotiations and close deals with both new and existing customers.
- Respond to pricing requests promptly, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining high customer service standards.
- Use CRM systems to track leads, manage pipelines, and monitor sales performance.
- Collaborate with operations and support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new clients.
- Maintain strong market knowledge by tracking competitors, industry trends, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Align with company sales policies and strategies while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through a consultative and solution-driven approach.
