Job summary

Revolut is seeking a Business Compliance Manager in the UAE to shape how crypto features are launched and communicated across markets. You will translate complex regulation into practical, product-ready requirements.

You will partner with Product, Tech, and Growth to advise on regulations, oversee crypto frameworks, and support new product approvals, ensuring customer communications are compliant.

This hands-on role requires 5+ years in regulatory compliance with UAE VARA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in regulatory compliance.
• Experience interpreting regulations in a business context.
• Experience with VARA UAE regulations.
• Experience in crypto/fintech industries preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on crypto and consumer regulations with Product, Tech, and Growth.
• Oversee yield, DeFi, and derivative product frameworks.
• Support approvals and launches of crypto features.
• Review and approve customer communications and marketing materials.
• Own post-launch regulatory reviews and documentation.
• Translate evolving regulation into product-ready requirements.
• Conduct horizon scanning and BAU compliance tasks (KRIs, BCIs, etc.).
• Propose pragmatic, compliant solutions balancing risk and delivery velocity.

We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to act as a first-line crypto compliance partner. In this hands‑on role, you’ll have direct impact on how crypto features are launched, scaled, and communicated across markets, translating complex regulation into practical, product‑ready solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with Product, Tech, and Growth teams to advise on crypto and consumer regulations, including financial promotions, regulatory changes, and consumer protection requirements
• Overseeing yield, DeFi, and derivative products and relevant frameworks
• Supporting new product approvals and launches, and rollouts for crypto features
• Reviewing and approving customer communications and marketing materials
• Owning post‑launch product reviews and ensuring regulatory decisions are clear, documented, and defensible
• Translating evolving regulation into actionable, product‑ready requirements
• Conducting horizon‑scanning and supporting BAU compliance activities, including KRIs, BCIs, fair value indicators, and customer sentiment metrics
• Enabling the business by proposing pragmatic, compliant solutions that protect consumers while maintaining delivery velocity

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
• Expertise in interpreting and applying regulations within a business context
• Experience in a top‑tier bank, investment firm, crypto exchange, fast‑growing technology company, or strategy consultancy
• Experience with VARA regulations and an understanding of UAE federal laws
• An excellent understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact
• Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment

Nice to have

• Experience in the crypto industry
• Knowledge of crypto‑native products and technical nuances
• An understanding of MiFID and similar directives
