Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Bus Driver role based in Dubai for holders of a valid D License and C & B category driving privileges. The Bus Driver is responsible for operating buses safely on designated routes, following traffic laws and company policies, and maintaining a high level of passenger safety and comfort. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, managing passenger boarding and seating, and ensuring adherence to schedules. The role also involves providing courteous assistance to passengers, handling basic inquiries, reporting incidents or mechanical issues, and completing required logs and documentation. The driver will collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to adjust routes as needed and support tourism-related trips and special transport assignments.

Qualifications

• Strong bus and truck driving abilities with valid D License and C & B category, and experience operating large passenger or commercial vehicles.
• Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and safe route planning to minimize risk and ensure passenger safety.
• Background in driver training or willingness to participate in ongoing training programs to maintain skills and compliance.
• Customer service skills with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse passengers and manage inquiries professionally.
• Good knowledge of Dubai roads, traffic regulations, and local transport guidelines.
• Ability to read and follow schedules, complete basic documentation, and communicate clear with dispatch and colleagues.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods, assist passengers as needed, and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Previous experience in travel, tourism, or public transportation is an advantage; basic English communication skills are preferred, with additional languages considered beneficial.
