Job summary

You will be responsible for preparing accident repair estimates, understanding vehicle parts pricing, and maintaining customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Engineering or a Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical along with technical knowledge and strong negotiation skills. Qualifications

Job description

Key Accountabilities

• To gain & understand of good technical knowledge of the vehicle genuine parts prices (new & used).
• Adherence and maintenance of Company “Service standards” for ensuring customer care.
• Receiving and delivery of accident vehicles from customers.
• Work as a team to meet service targets.
• Should be able to interact with customers, have good communication and public relations skills.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies and provide accident repair estimate on the spot.
• Able to prepare independently repair estimate for accident repairs for all brands of vehicle.
• Negotiation with Insurance Surveyors.
• Any relevant ad-hoc duties and/or relevant special projects may be assigned by the Management.

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Graduate in Engineering / Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical
• 2-3 year experience as estimator, within a reputable automotive dealership or reputed workshop.
• Sound Technical knowledge with ability to understand customer needs and requirements.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with administrative competence.
• Proactive approach when dealing with customer.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
