Job summary

Momentum is seeking an experienced Pediatric Surgeon (American Board) to join a leading UAE healthcare institution in Dubai. The role focuses on surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital, developmental, and acquired conditions.

Responsibilities include planning, performing procedures, pre/post‑op care, emergencies, and collaboration with neonatology and anesthesia teams. UAE licensing eligibility is required, with professional development supported.

Qualifications

• American Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery or recognized equivalent.
• Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
• Relevant clinical and surgical experience in Pediatric Surgery.
• Strong experience in pediatric and neonatal surgical care. Excellent clinical, surgical, communication, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop surgical plans for pediatric patients.
• Perform pediatric surgical procedures within scope of expertise.
• Manage congenital, neonatal, abdominal, GI, and other pediatric conditions.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative patient care.
• Manage surgical emergencies and complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Counsel parents on diagnosis, options, and follow‑up care.
