Job summary

PPOAR in Sharjah invites applications for a Welder with minimal experience to join our team. You will weld metal parts to form complete components using various equipment, following blueprints and approved techniques.

This role requires safety discipline, ability to read technical drawings, knowledge of metal properties, and hands-on use of manual and power tools. Foreign applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum work experience in welding or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints or specifications accurately.
• Knowledge of metal properties and suitable temperatures for welding.
• Experience with manual and power tools used in welding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions and wear protective gear.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Analyze engineering drawings to plan layout and welding operations.
• Prepare, cut and clean materials to be welded.
• Use manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to join metal parts.
• Monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, distortion or gaps.
• Repair machinery by welding components and filling gaps.
• Inspect grooves, angles and gaps with precision instruments.
