Qualifications

• Qualified Biology teacher with relevant teaching certification.
• Experience across KS3 to KS5 is preferred.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment.

• Deliver Biology lessons to KS3–KS5 and assess progress.

Job description

Due to the continued success of our school, GEMS Founders School – Dubai, we are seeking to recruit a Biology Teacheravailable to join us, January 2027.

Our Science Faculty is a large and supportive team, which gives staff plenty of opportunity to develop their experience across KS3 to KS5 and to grow into wider curriculum or leadership responsibilities over time. We have specialist subject leadership across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computing and KS3 Science, well-equipped laboratories and a dedicated technician team.

There is a strong culture of collaboration across the faculty, with shared planning, regular professional development and a well-established support structure for early career teachers through our ECT programme, coaching and mentoring. Staff are also encouraged to get involved in curriculum development, enrichment, competitions and wider STEM opportunities, so there is plenty of scope to shape the faculty as well as develop professionally within it.
