Teamware Solutions is hiring an experienced Cloudera Administrator – Big Data Platform for a Dubai, UAE opportunity. The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on Cloudera/Hadoop experience across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

The candidate will manage enterprise Big Data platforms, implement CDP, CML, and NiFi, ensure reliable data flows, perform tuning and capacity planning, and oversee security and ITIL-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Big Data platform administration and operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloudera and Hadoop administration.
• Experience with CDP, CML, NiFi and security, DR, and ITIL-aligned processes.
• Proven ability to manage on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

About the Role

Teamware Solutions is hiring an experienced Cloudera Administrator – Big Data Platform for an exciting opportunity with in Dubai, UAE.

We are looking for a highly skilled Big Data professional with 10–15 years of experience and strong hands‑on expertise in Cloudera, Hadoop, CDP, CML, and NiFi.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Big Data platform administration, infrastructure management, source system integration, performance tuning, security, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and enterprise operations across on‑premise, hybrid, and cloud environments.

What You’ll Do

Manage and administer enterprise Big Data platforms and Hadoop clusters within Cloudera environments.

Implement and support Cloudera CDP, CML, and Apache NiFi platforms.

Integrate source systems with the Big Data platform and ensure reliable, seamless data flows.

Perform performance tuning, optimization, capacity planning, and platform sizing to improve scalability and efficiency.

Manage release processes, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment activities for Big Data applications.

Oversee infrastructure and hardware configurations across on‑premise, hybrid cloud, and cloud environments.

Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) processes aligned with ITIL practices.

Manage platform security, including security controls, vulnerability remediation, security agents, patching, and penetration testing coordination.

Monitor daily platform operations, prepare reports, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and service providers.

What We’re Looking For

10–15 years of experience in Big Data platform administration, implementation, integration, and operations.

Strong hands‑on expertise in Cloudera and Hadoop cluster administration.

Extensive experience with Cloudera CDP, CML, and NiFi.

Strong understanding of Big Data architecture, source system integration, data flows, and platform performance tuning.

Experience with CI/CD, release management, DevOps practices, and containerization.

Strong knowledge of infrastructure across on‑premise, hybrid cloud, and cloud environments.

Hands‑on experience with capacity planning, sizing, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and ITSCM.

Knowledge of Big Data security, vulnerability management, patching, security agents, and penetration testing.

Strong stakeholder, vendor, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Relevant Cloudera / Big Data certifications.

Strong understanding of ITIL-based operational processes.

Experience working with enterprise infrastructure, security, and technology teams.

Experience in hybrid and cloud-based Big Data environments.
