Job summary

Six Construct, a BESIX Group subsidiary, is seeking an accomplished Bid Manager to lead end-to-end EPC bids for water and wastewater infrastructure in the Middle East. You will coordinate engineering, estimation, procurement, and commercial teams to deliver technically robust and compliant proposals.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in bid management within water/wastewater, EPC or Design-Build projects, and deep understanding of regional tendering practices in the GCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of bid management, tendering, proposal management, or project engineering within the water and wastewater sector.
• Proven experience in EPC, Design-Build, or turnkey infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external technology partners.
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracting, commercial evaluation, risk management, and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the GCC or Middle East market and familiarity with regional tendering practices is highly desirable.

Why This Role Matters

As Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive EPC proposals for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the Middle East.

You will play a key role in securing new business opportunities by bringing together multidisciplinary engineering, commercial, and operational inputs into integrated solutions that meet client requirements and align with BESIX's strategic objectives. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners, you will ensure the delivery of technically robust, commercially sound, and compliant proposals.

What You'll Drive

• Lead the end-to-end bid management process for water and wastewater treatment EPC opportunities.
• Develop bid strategies, submission plans, schedules, and internal coordination frameworks to ensure successful tender delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Estimation, Procurement, Operations, HSE, Quality, Legal, and Finance.
• Manage technical integration of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process engineering disciplines.
• Act as the primary interface with technology providers, process partners, consultants, and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure alignment of process design packages, equipment specifications, technical deliverables, and commercial inputs within the overall EPC proposal.
• Review tender documentation, identify project risks, and coordinate mitigation measures.
• Support cost estimation, value engineering, and proposal optimization initiatives.
• Lead the preparation of technical submissions, commercial proposals, compliance matrices, methodologies, schedules, and tender presentations.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, tender instructions, applicable regulations, and BESIX standards.
• Participate in client meetings, technical clarification workshops, negotiations, and post-tender activities.
• Manage internal approval processes and ensure timely submission of tender packages.
• Support the successful handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
