Job summary

Rixos Premium Dubai invites applications for a passionate Beverage Specialist to join Josephine, our elevated Mediterranean dining concept by the waterfront at Dubai's JBR. You will guide guests with expert wine, spirit and cocktail recommendations and help craft a memorable beverage journey in a luxury setting.

You will train the team, ensure service aligns with UAE regulations and Rixos standards, and collaborate with culinary peers to create perfect pairings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Beverage Specialist or similar role in premium restaurants or luxury hotels.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beverage service.
• Wine or beverage-related certification such as WSET is highly desirable.
• Experience within Mediterranean or seafood-led concepts is an advantage.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Excellent grooming and professional presentation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging and personalised beverage experience during service.
• Provide expert recommendations based on guest preferences and menu.
• Develop knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, coffees and premium beverages.
• Support the implementation and development of Josephine's beverage programme.
• Ensure beverages are prepared and served to established recipes and standards.
• Work closely with restaurant, bar and culinary teams for food and beverage pairings.
• Support beverage tastings, training sessions and knowledge development.
• Build guest relationships and confidently introduce new products and recommendations.
• Maintain appropriate beverage stock levels while supporting inventory control and minimising wastage.
• Ensure beverage service complies with UAE regulations, responsible service requirements and Rixos standards.
• Bring personality, storytelling and genuine enthusiasm to every guest interaction.
