Qualifications

  • Previous bar operation experience.
  • One year in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale hotel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Job Description

• Stocking and replenishing bar inventory (alcohol, mixers, garnishes, etc…)
• Cleaning and organizing bar area, including glassware, utensils, and surfaces
• Assisting bartenders with tasks such as preparing garnishes, changing kegs, and restocking supplies
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the back-of-house areas
• Helping to maintain a safe and sanitary environment by following health and safety regulations
• Providing excellent guest service by promptly fulfilling requests and assisting guests as needed
• Handling cash transactions, if required
• Assisting with opening and closing duties as directed by management
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures
• Occasionally assisting with other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers

Qualifications

• Previous Bar operation experience
• One year in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
• Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
