Job summary

Crayon Data is seeking a Data Analyst and Banking Insights Specialist in Abu Dhabi to support a bank’s Command Unit. You will identify and communicate high-impact insights from large banking datasets, working with senior leadership to drive decisions.

The role requires 4–7+ years in data analytics, strong SQL/Python skills, and experience with Power BI/Tableau. This is an on-site UAE opportunity, collaborating with cross-functional teams across analytics, data engineering and technology.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of experience in data analytics or insights roles.
• Strong hands-on SQL and Python, including large datasets.
• Experience analysing banking or financial-services data.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS, Databricks, Cloudera or Spark.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large-scale banking datasets across customer behaviour, deposits, cards, lending, transactions, channels and operations.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks and growth opportunities for senior management.
• Develop insights on customer acquisition, engagement and attrition; balance and revenue movements.
• Translate data findings into actionable recommendations for CXO-level audiences.
• Create management-ready presentations and visualisations.
