Job description

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Identify, engage and maintain relationships with traditional financial institutions open to servicing crypto‑related entities including those supporting inflows/outflows from exchanges and enabling fiat operational payments.
• Account Onboarding: Lead the process of opening domestic and international bank accounts for entities involved in crypto trading particularly those with complex or multi‑jurisdictional structures.
• Compliance: Guide and support the preparation of comprehensive compliance packages including KYB/KYC documentation, source of funds narratives, transactional histories and audit‑ready trails.
• Internal Controls & Governance: Advise on the development and implementation of robust internal compliance policies and control procedures aligned with banking and regulatory expectations.
• Regulatory Readiness: Monitor evolving banking compliance standards and provide actionable insights to ensure the firm remains ahead of regulatory developments in key jurisdictions.
• Strategic Advisory: Serve as a senior advisor to the leadership team on banking strategy, reputational risk mitigation and compliance best practices leveraging a global perspective.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Law or a related field.
• Proven experience successfully opening and managing bank accounts for crypto trading firms or fintechs particularly those operating across multiple jurisdictions.
• Understanding of banking compliance standards applicable to digital asset entities including AML/CFT, fund transparency and operational risk management.
• Strong track record in preparing and presenting documentation to banks and compliance teams ensuring clarity, completeness and regulatory alignment.
• Familiarity with banking environments in crypto‑friendly jurisdictions (e.g. Cayman Islands, Switzerland, Singapore).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, a problem‑solving mindset and a proven ability to navigate cross‑functional environments.
