Job summary

IFZA Dubai seeks a Software Engineer to deliver well-tested backend features within an established architecture, and to contribute to frontend work when needed. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and engineers to design, build, and deploy reliable software solutions that drive business value.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and Prisma ORM.
• Solid REST API design skills and authentication concepts.
• Working knowledge of React and full-stack collaboration.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with containerized deployments and modern CI/CD processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver features independently.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with validation, error handling, authentication, and logging.
• Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript when required.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Follow Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver end-to-end features.
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and continuously strengthen applications.
• Maintain coding standards, documentation, and best practices across the lifecycle.
