Job summary

Midis Group in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Node.js and NestJS, with .NET experience as an added advantage for enterprise integration.

You will collaborate with frontend developers, architects, DevOps and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance software; you'll ensure APIs are well-documented, tested, and deployed through CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong RESTful API design and backend architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and queries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Design RESTful APIs (and GraphQL where applicable).
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and apply caching strategies.
• .NET integration with ASP.NET Core is a plus.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
• Write unit and integration tests; ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and stakeholders; participate in CI/CD.
• Maintain API and system documentation.
