Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 5–8 years of experience to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of our distributed systems. You will design and operate cloud infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines, and monitor services in AWS and Azure.

The role requires strong knowledge of Java, .NET Core, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB), and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of database management and integration technologies.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Knowledge of Fintech trends and technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in application support and incident management

Responsibilities

• Hands on experience in wealth or brokerage applications such as Brokerage (FIT, Zag trader, Direct FN), Wealth (Prospero, Advent)
• Good wealth or brokerage domain knowledge and understanding of trading lifecycles.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Maintain software solutions using Java, .NET Core, and associated frameworks.
• Manage and optimize relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and support NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Knowledge to integrate APIs, microservices, and other integration solutions to support business applications.
• Apply cybersecurity principles and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security architecture standards.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging Fintech technologies including blockchain, AI/ML, and digital wallets to enhance system capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
