A leading tech firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud & DevOps SRE Engineer to manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimized performance. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience with AWS services and DevOps practices. The role is full-time and requires strong scripting skills, with no remote work available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps/SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Job description

We are currently looking AWS Cloud & DevOps SRE Engineer for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 57 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps/SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 IAM VPC RDS EKS etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform CloudFormation or similar tools.
• Experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and OpenShift for container orchestration.
• Solid experience with Docker and Podman for containerization.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab including GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. Bash Python or Go).
• Experience with monitoring logging and alerting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with GitLab pipelines Security Deployments etc.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g. CIS NIST ISO 27001).

Key Responsibilities
