Job summary

FAB in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Corporate CAD professional to check and vet documentation for credit facilities, ensure enforceability of security documents, and maintain accurate records in the bank system.

You will oversee documentation quality, manage a team, and coordinate with authorities to ensure compliant release of collaterals across Emirates. Strong English, banking product knowledge, and UAE law experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance.
• 8-10 years’ experience in Corporate Banking with at least 8 years’ experience in the Corporate CAD function.
• Knowledge and use of banking software systems, basic PC skills and common MS applications like Excel and Word.
• Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of Bank's financial system.
• Very good knowledge of Banking Products / Corporate Credit Administration functions.
• Good knowledge of U.A.E. legal environment & Central Bank regulations.
• Team worker, ability to work under pressure, fast learner, attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Manage the team & monitor the customers’ portfolios of the assigned segment in terms of documentation, collaterals & deficient / deferred documents.
• Review in-house Bank standard Facility Offer Letter/ Term Loan Agreement, internal legal negotiated Facility Offer Letter/ Term Loan Agreement, security / support documentation in accordance with the credit approvals.
• Ensure all security / support documents lodged for in-house documentation have been properly executed and signatures verified; authenticity supported by resolution / POA.
• Rectify existing discrepancies / deficiencies in security documentation for facilities released under legacy records.
• Obtain approvals for deferral / waiver of incomplete documents from relevant authorities.
• Ensure accurate and timely internal reporting and regulatory reporting.
• Review documentation deficiency reports and follow up for timely submission / renewal.
• Maintain up to date collateral data in the Bank’s system.
• Verify at renewal that all security / support documents are lodged in the system.
• Keep security documents in vaults with a maintained file checklist.
• Authorize security documents / collaterals in the Bank’s system.
• Review/verify approvals for permanent release of collaterals and ensure no liabilities remain.
• Support creation/release/amendments of securities with local government and free zone authorities per POA.
• Advise Credit Control Unit for release of credit lines in the Bank's system.
