Job summary

Emirates Engineering Training, located at the Emirates Engineering Maintenance Centre, provides Basic AME License training approved by UAE GCAA and EASA. As an Engineering Type Instructor (B1), you will deliver Aircraft Type Rating and specialised Engine Overhaul instruction and prepare training materials to meet Emirates needs in accordance with the curriculum and regulations.

You will act as an examiner, invigilator and practical assessor, maintaining instructor qualifications and ensuring

Qualifications

• Degree or Honours in Mechanical Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B1).
• 8+ years of experience in an engine maintenance/workshop environment.
• Engine Maintenance training on at least two engine types (e.g., GE90, GP7200, RR-Trent).
• Experience in engine overhaul, disassembly and assembly, and inspection activities.
• Ability to use Engine Manuals, Overhaul Manuals and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
• Knowledge of CAR/PART 66, 147, 145, 21 and M Aviation regulations.
• Knowledge of training levels per CAR/PART 66 and ATA 104.
• Attended Train The Trainer course or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Engine Overhaul and related training sessions in line with Emirates procedures.
• Deliver Aircraft Type Rating and specialised Engine Overhaul instruction.
• Develop Training Needs Analysis, training materials and logbooks.
• Act as examiner, invigilator and practical assessor per CAR/PART 147.
• Maintain instructor qualifications as per regulatory requirements.
• Develop and review examination questions and papers.
