Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and expertise in automotive procurement lifecycles. Bachelor's degree is required; CIPS is desirable, with 7–10 years of experience in automotive procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• CIPS qualification or equivalent highly desirable.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience with automotive category focus.
• Expertise in automotive procurement strategies and supplier lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for Direct and Indirect spend in automotive procurement.
• Conduct scenario planning, total cost of ownership analysis, and value chain mapping.
• Ensure compliance with policies, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and manage procurement projects with clear objectives and timelines.
• Drive talent development and complete development plans for team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies with business needs.
• Identify cost-effective methods and establish preferred suppliers.
• Lead Source-to-Contract processes and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to meet delivery and quality targets.
• Engage internal stakeholders and influence decisions through sustainable relationships.
