The role requires managing a team of technicians, diagnosing complex vehicle issues, and ensuring quality repairs and timely service delivery. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years in automotive repair, strong leadership qualities, and good customer service skills. Experience with diagnostic tools and service management software is essential, along with a valid UAE driving license.
The Automotive Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop ensuring efficient workflow quality repairs and timely service delivery. The role involves supervising a team of technicians diagnosing complex vehicle issues coordinating repairs and maintaining high standards of customer.
Oversee and coordinate the workflow in the service center ensuring efficient job allocation and timely completion.
Supervise a team of technicians mechanics and apprentices providing guidance and support.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
Conduct daily briefings to assign tasks discuss challenges and set productivity goals.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues across multiple brands.
Provide technical assistance and mentorship to technicians.
Inspect completed jobs for quality assurance and compliance with manufacturer standards.
Keep uptodate with the latest automotive technologies diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Communicate with service advisors regarding job progress delays and repair recommendations.
Assist in explaining technical issues to customers when required.
Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering highquality service and resolving complaints efficiently.
Monitor parts availability and coordinate with the parts department for timely procurement.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of repairs inspections on CRM software system.
Provide ongoing training and skill development to technicians.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvement plans for workshop staff.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of multiple vehicle brands including diagnostics and repair procedures.
Ability to lead mentor and motivate a team.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service management software.
Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
