Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Auto Electrician / A/C Mechanic to diagnose and repair electrical and air conditioning systems in multi-brand vehicles. You will use diagnostic tools and testing equipment, read wiring diagrams, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.

The role requires 2-3 years UAE experience, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards. UAE-based candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience as an Auto Electrician / A/C Mechanic.
• Strong hands-on experience with multi-brand vehicles.
• Able to diagnose electrical and A/C faults independently and identify the root cause.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic scan tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Good knowledge of automotive wiring, sensors, modules, relays, fuses, starting/charging systems and A/C systems.
• Able to carry out repair jobs effectively, accurately and within the required time.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must follow workshop safety procedures and professional standards.
• Candidates currently in the UAE will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical and A/C system faults accurately.
• Identify root cause of electrical and A/C problems using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and systematic troubleshooting methods.
• Carry out electrical repairs, including wiring, sensors, fuses, relays, batteries, alternators, starters, lighting and other electrical components.
• Diagnose and repair automotive A/C systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, blower motors, pressure switches and related components.
• Perform A/C gas recovery, vacuuming, gas charging and leak testing as required.
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and electrical circuits.
• Conduct proper testing before and after repairs to ensure the fault has been rectified.
• Carry out assigned repair jobs efficiently, accurately and within the expected time.
• Ensure vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer specifications and workshop standards.
• Communicate identified faults, required repairs and additional work clearly to the Workshop Supervisor.
• Maintain proper care of diagnostic equipment, tools and workshop equipment.
• Follow all workshop safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly checked before handing it over to the customer.
