Job summary

Work standard in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team. We offer hands-on repair, maintenance and installation of vehicle electrical systems and a pathway to advance in a busy shop environment.

The ideal candidate will diagnose faults, interpret wiring diagrams, and perform electrical repairs with attention to safety and quality. A minimum 3 years of experience, a valid driving license and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary automotive courses are an asset.
• Must have 3+ years’ experience with automotive electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license; able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals quickly and accurately.
• Excellent customer service with professional communication.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to identify electrical problems or malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults using testing devices like ohmmeters and testers.
• Repair, replace or adjust relays, switches, and circuit breakers as required.
• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and filters.
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics to diagnose complex electrical issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person or by phone/email.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using computerized systems.
• Follow all safety precautions when working on vehicles.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
