Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking an experienced auto electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting, ensuring safety compliance. You will interpret schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and stay updated on evolving automotive technologies.

You will collaborate with fellow mechanics, document all work for warranty records, and train junior electricians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; auto electronics training preferred.
• ASE certification in electrical systems.
• Minimum 3 years as auto electrician in a fast-paced shop.
• Preference for hybrid/electric vehicle experience.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools like multimeters and scan tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical systems including wiring, batteries and lighting.
• Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for repairs and modifications.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components.
• Calibrate and program ECUs to optimize vehicle performance.

• Can manage AC work also; ensure safety standards are met.
