Job summary

KPMG Middle East is seeking an Audit - Sr. Associate specializing in TMT audits to join our Dubai team for the FY25 hiring cycle.

The successful candidate will commence on October 1, 2024, with interviews starting in June 2024, and will oversee and conduct audits within the Technology, Media & Telecommunications sector. Responsibilities include planning and executing TMT audits, delivering client-ready work, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with KPMG methodologies and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or equivalent required.
• ACCA: 9 papers completed (F1–F9).
• CPA: 2 papers completed.
• ICAEW: Professional Stage completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing TMT audit assignments for Manager/Partner review.
• Produce work for review, TMT consulting issues and offering potential solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, including attending meetings.
• Conduct strategic analysis specific to the TMT industry.
• Identify business and audit risks in the TMT sector.
• Assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls within TMT.
• Perform higher-risk and nonroutine audit functions in TMT sector.
• Provide day-to-day management of junior team members.
• Ensure effective use and application of KPMG Audit Manual/Methodology, auditing standards, and relevant industry standards within TMT.

• 2+ years postgraduate experience.
