Job Description
As an Audit Executive, you will play a vital role in assisting with the financial auditing processes of an organization. You will be responsible for conducting audits and providing insights on the financial health of the company to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company procedures. Possessing excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail, you will analyze financial statements and accounting records to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement. This role offers a platform to work collaboratively with various departments, enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the company's financial operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed audits of financial statements and internal controls for accuracy.
- Analyze accounting records to detect data inaccuracies or omissions and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with financial management to improve financial processes and integrity.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports with observations and recommendations for management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies.
- Support the audit planning process and assess risks associated with financial statements.
- Verify and evaluate the accuracy of account balances and financial transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and practices.
- Participate in the development of audit methodologies and tools for more effective audits.
- Assist in the assessment and enhancement of risk management and internal controls.
- Coordinate and meet with clients to deliver status updates and findings of audits.
- Provide guidance and support to junior audit staff in performing audit tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of three years' experience in auditing or a related financial role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Excellent understanding of auditing techniques and financial regulations required.
- Proficient in accounting and auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
