Job summary

Careers at UAE is seeking an Audit Executive to conduct internal audit assignments in accordance with professional standards. The role focuses on delivering high-quality work with value addition to the organization.

Responsibilities include conducting surprise audits across UAE locations and overseas, inspecting real estate properties, reviewing payments and stock counts, and supporting IA leadership on full-scope audits as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, economics or business administration; CA Inter preferred.
• 1-2 years of accounting/auditing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surprise audits at various entity locations in UAE and overseas as per Internal Audit plan.
• Undertake Real Estate properties inspection in UAE following the approved checklist.
• Draft surprise audit reports and reports for property inspections undertaken for review by the CIA or Senior Manager.
• Conduct stock counts at various entity locations based on scheduled half yearly OR year-end inventory counts.
• Verify stock variance and bad debts write off requests as per the work program.
• Review backup documents to ensure payments are properly supported with approved PO, valid Invoices, acknowledged DO, etc.
• Processing of payments after ensuring appropriate approvals as per DOA and compliance with relevant policies along with confirming correct accounting entries.
• Verify incentive payouts as allocated by Senior Manager – Internal Audit
• Assist Internal Audit team to conduct full scope audit assignments or other tasks as requisitioned by IA leadership and / or Senior Management

Scope:
Audit Executive will be responsible for conducting Internal Audit assignments in accordance with the standards promulgated by the Internal Auditors and to provide high quality work deliverables bringing added value to theorganization.

Skills

Experience : 1 or 2 years experience in Accounting/auditing is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred: UAE Driving license
