Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks an Assortment Planning Assistant to support product assortment, range planning, and merchandise management. You will collect and analyze sales data, maintain planning records, and prepare materials for reviews.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of assortment planning, merchandise planning, inventory management, and retail or product lifecycle concepts.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret sales, product, inventory, and customer data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools for data analysis, reporting, and planning.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate product, assortment, and planning information.
• Understanding of sales trends, product performance, seasonal demand, inventory levels, and assortment optimization is preferred.
• Familiarity with merchandising, planning, ERP, inventory, or business intelligence systems is an advantage.
• Good research and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify product opportunities, gaps, and performance issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to prepare clear reports, presentations, and planning materials for internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Commercially minded, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new planning tools and processes.
