Job summary

Dubai Chambers seeks a senior technology leader to drive AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and emerging tech initiatives across the organization. You will lead strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage technology partners, and deliver AI solutions that boost efficiency and innovation.

The role requires 6–8 years in tech and 3–5 years leading AI or transformation programs, with experience managing large programs and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, AI, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Digital Transformation or related field.
• Master's degree in AI, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, MBA or related discipline preferred.
• Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2; Agile/Scrum; AI, Cloud or Digital Transformation certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI transformation roadmap and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Manage end-to-end AI and automation projects from concept to implementation.
• Monitor developments in AI and emerging technologies and evaluate adoption opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimise business processes with AI.
• Engage stakeholders, promote AI awareness, and drive change management activities.
• Manage relationships with AI technology providers, consultants and vendors; ensure delivery against objectives.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead the planning, execution, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, and emerging technology initiatives across Dubai Chambers. The role will drive AI transformation projects, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage technology partners, and ensure successful implementation of AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and organizational innovation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

AI Transformation Strategy & Implementation

• Lead the implementation of Dubai Chambers' AI transformation roadmap.
• Identify and prioritize AI use cases across business functions.
• Support the deployment of AI, Generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and organizational objectives.

AI Project & Program Management

• Manage end-to-end AI and automation projects from concept through implementation.
• Develop project plans, timelines, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, budgets, and implementation progress.

AI Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Monitor developments in AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate innovative solutions and recommend adoption opportunities.
• Conduct pilot programs and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Support business cases for AI investments and technology adoption

Intelligent Automation & Process Optimization

• Identify opportunities to automate and optimize business processes.
• Collaborate with departments to redesign workflows using AI and automation technologies.
• Measure and track efficiency improvements and business benefits.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Engage with business units to understand operational requirements and transformation opportunities.
• Promote AI awareness and adoption across the organization.
• Support change management activities associated with AI implementation.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, and awareness sessions to stakeholders.

Vendor & Technology Management

• Manage relationships with AI technology providers, consultants, and implementation partners.
• Participate in solution evaluations, procurement activities, and vendor assessments.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.

Governance & Responsible AI

• Support the development and implementation of AI governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and ethical AI requirements.
• Promote responsible and secure use of AI technologies across Dubai Chambers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Digital Transformation, or a related field.

Preferred Qualification

• Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Technology Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Professional Certifications (Preferred)

• PMP or PRINCE2
• Agile / Scrum Certification
• AI, Cloud, or Digital Transformation Certifications

Minimum Experience and Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in technology, digital transformation, project management, or innovation.

Preferred Experience
