Job summary

A major FMCG company in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Associate Forklift Driver. Responsibilities include operating forklifts to manage pallets while adhering to safety and quality standards, performing inspections, and assisting supervisors in maintaining workplace safety. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar role and possess a Forklift Driving License.

Description:

Job Summary
  • The main responsibility is to operate forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, de-stack, load & unload pallets/stocks with all the safety & quality standards without damaging stock, forklift or any other assets.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible to perform MHE (Machine Handling Equipment’s) cleaning & general inspection before operating machine.
  • Perform stacking/de-stacking and loading/unloading in an efficient and safe manner with accuracy.
  • Ensure no damage, de-shaped, misaligned pallet loaded in trucks for dispatch to customer.
  • Ensure no pallet hold on production line and cause line stoppage.
  • Pallets stacking in the warehouse should be straight and based on FIFO.
  • To assist their Supervisors and Managers in identifying hazards at the workplace.
  • To participate in the assessment of the risks associated with the identified hazards.
  • At the workplace not to, by way of omission or negligence, place themselves or others at the risk of harm or ill-health.
  • Be aware of and follow the EMIGRAIN adopted risk management procedures when undertaking tasks and projects.
  • Follow the reasonable directions of Supervisors and Managers with regard to safety.
  • Report as soon as practical and without undue delay to supervisors any incidents or near misses which relate to occupational health and safety at the workplace.
  • Do not interfere or misuse any device or equipment which has been provided as a part of a risk control measure.
  • Maintaining the quality & safety standards without deviation.
  • Maintaining GMP & Hygiene at Work Area
  • Any other work responsibility assigned by Line Manager as and when required upon business requirement (with relevant Training)
