About the job Associate Engineer/Fixed Field Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Handle Fixed Network Operation & Maintenance activities including optical/electrical circuit Provision, Cessations, Re-routing & Network failures due to traffic & Hardware.
• Attends assigned major/non-routine tasks related to Core, Access & Fiber Network under supervision & guidance of seniors.
• To be able to use various types of test equipment to localize & rectify faults.
• Perform installation of fiber optic equipment and ODF patch panels.
• Experience in transmission & IP equipments including Cisco routers, switches, SDH,DWDM, firewall,...ect
• Attends and clears faults reported by NOCs related transmission & Fiber network using analyzer, light source & Power meter.
• ODTR testing for locating FO cable faults and during cable outages.
• Support maintenance activities like acceptance testing (ATP, ACL etc.) of new FO Cables & network nodes.

Qualification:

• Bachelors/ Diploma Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent
