Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Dubai seeks an Associate Director / Associate - Vertical Transportation with extensive experience in elevator and escalator design for high-rise buildings. The role requires 15+ years in vertical transportation design and familiarity with EN81 and ASME A17.1 standards.

The candidate will lead consultancy engagements and coordinate projects in the Middle East. Ideal candidates will be fully conversant with EN81, ASME A17.1 and have strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in designing vertical transportation systems for buildings.
• Qualified Elevator and Escalator engineer.
• Familiarity with EN81 suite of codes and ASME A17.1 standards.
• Experience as a consultant in the Middle East is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified and time served Elevator and Escalator engineer and shall possess at least 15+ years’ experience in designing vertical transportation systems for buildings including experience as a consultant. The successful applicant shall be fully conversant with the EN81 suite of codes and standards with working knowledge of the ASME A17.1.
