We are recruiting an Associate Director to play a significant role in the success of our Transaction & Commercial Advisory team, with a focus on social infrastructure sectors such as water, power, and energy. Experience working with infrastructure investors, lenders, and financial institutions is essential. Knowledge of residential projects, hospitals, schools, roads, water treatment, desalination, power stations, wind farms, PV, and energy sectors is highly desirable.

The candidate should demonstrate technical, economic, and regulatory understanding in these sectors, with a proven track record in leading transaction and commercial assignments and managing teams.

Your role includes:
  • Leading projects and advising clients on integrated commercial, technical, and transaction advisory assignments in social infrastructure, water, energy, and emerging sectors. Responsible for producing business plans and due diligence reports of high quality.
  • Developing and managing client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, and converting prospects into projects.
  • Representing WSP in client meetings, demonstrating strong client management skills.
  • Analyzing complex issues and preparing clear, high-quality reports.
  • Coordinating project teams and supporting the development of team members.
About the team

Our Advisory team supports clients from project inception through completion, including feasibility, market forecasts, technical assessments, and asset modernization. Our global network includes 74,000 technical specialists, offering services such as transaction advisory, investment consulting, market studies, and feasibility analysis.

Candidate requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a master's in project finance.
  • Successful delivery of complex social infrastructure projects in the last 5 years, with water and energy experience preferred.
  • Experience in leading consultancy firms or specialized advisory services.
  • Team management and delivery coordination skills under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages like Arabic are a plus.
  • Ability to build client relationships and communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Proficiency in software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, etc.
