Job summary

Founders Law Limited is recruiting a UAE-based Corporate & Commercial associate to join a fast-growing team supporting fintech, AI, digital assets, and other high-growth startups. The role involves advising on corporate and commercial matters for ambitious founders and scaling companies, with a strong emphasis on contract drafting and negotiation.

Ideal candidates are UK-qualified lawyers with 2–3 years of experience, currently based in the UAE, and able to thrive in a hybrid, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Based in the UAE; 1–2 years local experience ideal

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong commercial contracts background with high-growth tech clients

Responsibilities

• Advise on corporate and commercial matters for high-growth tech companies in the UAE.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts and related documentation.
• Collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams to support business growth.

What we're looking for?

• UK-qualified corporate/commercial lawyer (common law) with at least 2-3 years of experience, and trained at a large-scale US/UK law firm
• Already based in the UAE (1-2 years’ local experience ideal)
• Entrepreneurial mindset + ability to thrive in fast-moving environments
• Excellent communicator (written + verbal)
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with legal tech
• Strong commercial contracts background with high-growth tech clients
• Bonus points if you've got
• Fundraising/venture experience
• Cross-border advisory experience (Europe / Middle East)
• Exposure to data protection, IP, consumer law, or digital assets
