Assistant Resident Engineer - Structural

Al Quaa, Al Ain

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer - Structural to join our team! In this role you will be involved in the design review and construction supervision of the project's structural works.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead the review and approval of designs, shop drawings, and construction procedures for structural elements such as bridges, piles, underpasses, girders, MSE walls, and roadworks.
  • Ensure compliance with ADQCC and ADM standards, project specifications, and engineering best practices.
  • Conduct site inspections, monitor material deliveries, and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to address technical challenges and maintain project progress.
  • Provide technical guidance, prepare progress reports, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and approve method statements, material submissions, and construction techniques to support successful project execution.
Required Skills You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in field construction on large civil/structural projects such as bridges and underpasses.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in the UAE.
  • Familiarity with ADQCC and ADM standards preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis, construction processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to construction site locations as needed.
