Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd in Dubai, UAE is seeking an organized Assistant Project Manager - Urban Planning to join its urbanism and planning team. The role focuses on pre-contract activities, feasibility assessments, and detailed project documentation to support senior managers.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and authorities, maintain schedules and budgets, and help prepare proposals and presentations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in coordinating projects, preferably in urbanism/planning or real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and development processes.
• Proficiency with project management software and related tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities, including handling multiple activities simultaneously.
• Analytical ability to interpret planning documents, feasibility studies, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project managers in coordinating pre-contract activities, including feasibility studies and preliminary planning assessments.
• Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, progress reports, compliance checklists, and project documentation.
• Review planning requirements and zoning regulations to align with local and emirate-level guidelines.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, clients, consultants, and government authorities.
• Assist with project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans for pre-contract deliverables.
• Organize and track vendor and consultant submissions, ensuring delivery and quality standards.
• Research market conditions, developments, and planning precedents to support strategy.
