We are seeking a talented and passionate Assistant Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As an Assistant Pastry Chef you will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to create delectable desserts and pastries that delight our guests and showcase your creativity and skill.

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in preparing a wide range of desserts, pastries and baked goods
  • Follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Contribute creative ideas for new dessert menu items and seasonal specials
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage and safety practices are followed at all times
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of desserts
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of pastry supplies
  • Train and mentor junior pastry staff members
  • Adapt to the fast‑paced environment of Dubai's competitive culinary scene
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a pastry chef in a professional kitchen or bakery
  • Culinary degree or diploma in Pastry Arts preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pastry preparation techniques and baking skills
  • Creativity and ability to develop new dessert recipes
  • Proficiency in using various pastry equipment and tools

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
